Beautiful in Summer

and Winter

Historic Sites or Outstanding Golfing - it's all here!
The area surrounding Pitcastle has so much more to offer than stalking, shooting and fishing. Highland Perthshire is one of Scotland’s most oft-visited parts in the world for those wanting to indulge in a whole range of activities. And to be honest, as anyone who’s visited here will tell you, we’re spoilt for choice.
You will find some of the best walks in the world here – there are several Munroe’s to be bagged as well as some fine walks through the many glens.
Wheels more your thing? Then there are a number of highland safaris in Perthshire which offer the amazing experience of getting off-road and immersing yourself in the landscape. If you’re a keen photographer then this is an activity you won’t want to pass up. If you'd prefer to drive yourself then you can do that too…
There are a large number of historic sites in the near vicinity too, Killiecrankie and Culloden battlefields, Blair Castle and of course Scone Palace.
Perhaps a trip to a Whiskey distillery might whet your appetite: Dewars, Blair Athol and Edradour are a stone’s throw away.
If shopping is your thing then the world famous House of Bruar is but a mere 25 minutes away, or perhaps you’d prefer a trip to Edinburgh with its Princes Street and historic Castle and museum waiting for you.
And we don’t need to tell you about the fantastic golfing opportunities in this part of the world – and within easy driving distance to Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St Andrews (not to mention the other 39 Golf courses in Perthshire!) if this is your thing then pack your clubs!
